Mynavytaxi.com and Anchors Aweigh Transport, Inc., are a dispatch service only, providing dispatch to independent owner-operators who provide their own vehicles, equipment, and insurance policies. The policy limits are currently $250,000.00 per policy and owned by the independent contractors. Mynavytaxi.com and Anchors Aweigh Transport, Inc. have no liability for the actions of any of the independent owner/operators who subscribe to our dispatch service. We service several northern suburbs (including Milwaukee's Mitchell Field). We offer flat rates for rides to and from the suburbs, the airports, and downtown Chicago.
Legal Information
By placing an order for dispatch service, you, the customer, waive, release, and discharge Mynavytaxi.com and Anchors Aweigh Transport, INC., now and forever, of and from any claims, demands, or cause of action for damages, injuries, and death as may arise due to a negligent act or omission of the independent driver of the taxi or livery vehicle, which is fully insured with a $250,000 policy. You, the customer, agree that Mynavytaxi.com and Anchors Aweigh Transport, INC., shall not be responsible for negligent acts or omissions of the independent taxi/livery drivers as to your orders you may place now or hereafter at any time. This waiver shall be considered ongoing and continuing in full force and effect unless revoked by you, the customer, in writing.
About Us
Mynavytaxi.com and Anchors Aweigh Transport, Inc., are a dispatch service. Our independent contracted drivers undergo an intense background investigation by the Department of the Navy and the North Chicago Police Department, including fingerprinting and criminal background checks. We are not a ride-share company. We are a dispatch service and have no ownership of vehicles.

For RTC pick-up and drop-offs, Gate 8 (Ohio Street) is authorized.

Affordable Rates and Local Service
We take pride in dispatching for the members of our military, their families, and civilians alike. Spend less money when you book with us. Our independent contractors accept all major credit cards.
Ride-share programs could be very costly—check your ride-share rate. Most of the time, when there are four (or more) passengers or travel during peak times, a ride utilizing a ride-share could be triple the cost (surge pricing) to or from the public areas of the base or airports. Ride-share companies are also prohibited from entering the Navy Base to pick up inside the base.
Here Are the Round-Trip Great Lakes Military Discounted Friendly Rates:
Round trip per van military discounts from O'Hare to most suburbs—$167.50–197.50
Great Lakes Naval Station ($149.50 including Navy Lodge and North Chicago hotels). Other rates to most Lake County suburbs are slightly higher depending on the actual hotel address.
Midway Airport to/from Great Lakes (including Navy Lodge/North Chicago only $227.50 plus tolls). Other Lake County suburbs are slightly higher depending on the actual hotel address.
There are no hidden charges or excess baggage charges. These are the rates per vehicle from the departures as indicated above. The round-trip rates above are for the airports only and do not include additional rides or other local transportation. These rates do not apply to Cook County or other counties.
Military Background
Our company was founded by me, also known as "Sarge." I am a retired member of the U.S. Army. I retired in 1991 after 20+ years of active-duty service. After working in the civilian sector for many years, my wife and I decided to work for ourselves. My family and I host the famous "Sarge's Meet and Greet" every week, the day before graduation. The meet and greet has been going strong since 2012.
Local Businesses
We act as ambassadors for local businesses that serve our military and civilian families. Many of these businesses in the area offer our service members free or discounted items. Our team of independently contracted drivers delivers the highest standard of customer service. They are honest, outgoing, reliable, and reasonable. All independently owned vehicles are fully licensed, independently insured, and bonded, and authorized by the Great Lakes Naval Training Command for both pickups and drop-offs at the main gate and RTC.
Whether you need a pickup at 3:03 in the morning or 3:03 in the mid-afternoon, we will be there. Our elite taxi service ensures a safe and affordable ride every time.
